Bringing movement, joy and connection into your care home
Dementia-friendly gentle somatic embodiment yoga meditation for residents and care teams
Inclusive, engaging wellbeing sessions that support comfortable movement, relaxation, social connection and a happier sense of community — adapted for different abilities and levels of mobility.

Helping people move with more ease, feel calmer and enjoy being together
Uyen offers dementia-friendly gentle somatic embodiment yoga meditation sessions that bring residents, day centre members and care staff together through gentle movement, breathing, music and human connection.
Her sessions are designed to help people feel more comfortable in their bodies, move with greater ease, feel calmer and experience more moments of connection and joy — while helping to create a warmer sense of community within the care setting.
Living with dementia does not take away who a person is
Uyen is passionate about creating opportunities for people living with dementia to feel valued and respected, stay connected with others, express themselves and continue to enjoy the things that bring meaning and happiness to their day.
She is fascinated by how people can respond to simple, appropriate movement, breathing and clear guidance. In her work, she has witnessed people who were initially stiff, uncomfortable or withdrawn begin to move with greater ease, relax, smile, engage and connect with those around them.
Care rooted in dignity and compassion
Born and raised in Vietnam, Uyen developed a deep respect for older people and for those who dedicate themselves to caring for others. She believes care should be rooted in understanding, presence, dignity and compassion — values she brings to every session.
Each session is calm, personalised and unhurried, yet engaging and enjoyable. Everything is thoughtfully adapted to different needs, abilities and levels of mobility, including people living with dementia.
Uyen also offers wellbeing team-building sessions for care staff, creating space for the people who care for others to move, breathe, release tension, relax and refocus, reconnect and enjoy being together as a team.
More than an activity session, it is an opportunity to support wellbeing, build community and create moments of genuine human connection.

Our dementia-friendly wellbeing sessions are created especially for care home residents, offering a warm and welcoming space where everyone can take part at their own pace.
Through Somatic Embodiment, gentle chair yoga, mindful movement, breathing and meditation, we encourage residents to connect with themselves and with each other — creating opportunities for conversation, laughter, relaxation and shared enjoyment.
